Nizar Rohana is a Palestinian oud player based in the Netherlands since 2013. His music draws on Arabic and Middle Eastern traditions while embracing contemporary rhythms and harmonies, with influences ranging from Bach and Miles Davis to Paco de Lucía. Together with bassist Tony Overwater and percussionist Ruven Ruppik, he recorded the album *The MCO Session* as the Nizar Rohana Trio.
