Michiel Borstlap Timelap Trio

Pianist Michiel Borstlap returns to the jazz stage with a new trio: Timelap. Together with bassist Stefan Lievestro and drummer Hans Eijkenaar, he brings refined compositions and improvisations together in a dynamic balance between drive and lyricism.

Borstlap has shared the stage with Peter Erskine, Bill Bruford, Kurt Elling and Lavinia Meijer, among others. His composition Memory of Enchantment was performed by Herbie Hancock and Wayne Shorter. He has previously collaborated with Lievestro and Eijkenaar, including recordings on the Verve label.
