Gregory Frateur (Dez Mona)

Gregory Frateur pays tribute to the great female jazz divas, with Billie Holiday as the central figure. Together with double bassist Nicolas Rombouts - with whom he forms the band Dez Mona - pianist Bram Weijters and drummer Steven Cassiers, he performs timeless songs full of passion, love and melancholy.

The four musicians do not opt for faithful imitations of Billie Holiday classics, but for distinctive reworkings that respect the original power of the music while creating their own sound.
