Luka Bloom

Irish singer-songwriter Luka Bloom has been a regular guest in the Netherlands for decades. On 23 May he celebrates his 70th birthday, a milestone he marks with a new album: A Second Wind. He wrote the songs last autumn, shortly before undergoing open-heart surgery in Dublin. The album is an intimate and grateful work, dedicated to the doctors, family and friends who saved his life.

During this tour, Luka Bloom performs songs from the new album alongside classics from his repertoire. His performances are characterized by authenticity, humour and emotional depth - featuring understated songs, personal stories and the occasional surprising cover.
