Ladysmith Black Mambazo

Ladysmith Black Mambazo from South Africa has been performing on stages around the world for over fifty years. The group has won 5 Grammy Awards and received 19 Grammy nominations.

In the 1970s, they became South Africa's most successful vocal group. In the mid-1980s, Paul Simon visited the country and incorporated their harmonies into the album Graceland (1986) - a recording that introduced world music to a broad audience.

Over the years, younger members have joined the group, continuing their tradition of storytelling. They bring their message of peace, love and harmony through song and dance to theatres, festivals and clubs worldwide.
