Wibi Soerjadi

Wibi Soerjadi celebrates his 45-year jubilee as a concert pianist with this special performance. Music critic Peter Schlamilch of De Nieuwe Muze wrote of him: "Soerjadi creates a unique musical 'backdrop landscape' that few can match: different layers of the score become almost visual on stage, individually perceptible yet always in complete unity, like a magician who enchants his audience while keeping them partly in suspense about reality. The fans brought the house down."

The programme consists of two parts. First, Wibi takes the audience through highlights from his career - a personal journey through 45 years of music history. In the second part, film music takes centre stage: he performs his own arrangements of music from well-known films, supplemented with his own compositions.
