Philippe Elan - 40 Years of Chansons

Philippe Elan celebrates four decades in the music business with the jubilee show '40 Years of Chansons'. For this performance, he has selected his favourite chansons from those four decades: interpretations of works by Jacques Brel, Edith Piaf, Charles Aznavour, Jean Ferrat and Julien Clerc, complemented by his own compositions.

Over the past four years, Elan has performed with pianist Gregor Bak at the Concertgebouw Amsterdam. His collaboration with arranger, guitarist and pianist Reyer Zwart at national performances has deepened his connection to French chanson.
