New Cool Collective | try-out nieuwe clubtour

New Cool Collective (NCC) was founded in 1993 at Amsterdam's Soul Kitchen, where Benjamin Herman and DJ Graham B first collaborated. That partnership grew into an eight-piece ensemble blending jazz, dance, Latin, salsa, afrobeat and boogaloo.

After line-up changes through the 1990s, the band relaunched their recording career in 2004 on Dox Records. The double album Trippin featured afrobeat legend Tony Allen on drums, followed by a series of releases. These brought NCC to stages like Roskilde, Fuji Rock, Lowlands, Montreal Jazz, Cape Town Jazz and Sziget, and on tour through Senegal, Costa Rica, Korea, Kenya, Indonesia and beyond.

In 25 years the band has released twenty albums, collaborating with artists from Matt Bianco to Thierno Koité of Orchestra Baobab. They have also won awards for film scores, hit records and even Benjamin's wardrobe. This club tour is a try-out of new material.
