About

Lollo Meier is a Dutch guitarist, composer and bandleader in the gypsy jazz tradition. He grew up in a family of Romani musicians and has performed alongside Fapy Lafertin and his cousin Stochelo Rosenberg. His playing draws on Django Reinhardt - melodic and virtuosic. The 2013 documentary "Lollo's Journey" chronicles his life and music.
