Hans Magnus Ryan, known as 'Snah', was born on 31 December 1969 in Trondheim and has been the guitarist and co-vocalist of Motorpsycho since the band's founding in 1989. Over more than three decades the group built a devoted following across Norway, Germany and the Netherlands with their genre-spanning blend of progressive rock, psychedelia and jazz. Away from Motorpsycho, Ryan plays in the experimental quartet Møster! and the improvisation duo Reflections in Cosmo alongside drummer Thomas Strønen.
Motorpsycho released the album 'The Gaia II Space Corps' on 27 February 2026 via their own label Det Nordenfjeldske Grammofonselskab.
Motorpsycho is scheduled in 2026 for concerts in, among others, Eindhoven, Düsseldorf, Aschaffenburg, Dortmund and Oldenburg.
On 21 February 2025, the self-titled double album 'Motorpsycho' was released, produced together with Deathprod and released as a duo after the departure of drummer Tomas Järmyr.
Motorpsycho went on 'The Comeback Tour' through Europe in April and May 2025, with shows in, among others, Berlin, Hamburg, Hanover and Oslo.
In September 2024, 'Neigh!!' was released, the second of two pandemic-inspired 'reaction albums', produced by Ryan and Bent Sæther.
