WIES

WIES moves freely across indie pop, levenslied, rock and electronic music, forging their own distinctive path. Known for tracks like 'Soms Is Het Te Laat', 'Meisje' and 'Venus', the trio blends colourful punk and electronic influences with thoughtful, emotionally resonant lyrics.

In spring 2026, their long-awaited third studio album 'AH!' arrived - a collage exploring a quarter-life crisis, the finding and losing of friendships and love, worries and dilemmas that dance around life. With new bassist and keyboardist Teun van der Maarel, WIES sounds more layered and raw than ever, as heard in singles like 'Drijfzand' and 'Ik Geloof Dat Wij Iets Delen'.

After touring the Netherlands and Belgium, WIES returns in autumn 2026 with the AH! Reprise tour. On 14 November, the trio plays the Gulpener Grote Zaal at Poppodium Nieuwe Nor. This is a club card show!
