She Past Away

She Past Away is a Turkish duo - Volkan Caner and Doruk Öztürkcan - combining post-punk rhythms, melancholic synths and Turkish-language lyrics. Their influences draw from acts like The Sisters of Mercy and Clan of Xymox, but the sound they've built is distinctly their own.

Following their debut EP Kasvetli Kutlama (2010) and album Belirdi Gece (2012), came Narin Yalnızlık (2015) and Disko Anksiyete (2019), establishing the duo as a fixture in the international new-wave scene. They've performed at Wave-Gotik-Treffen and toured sold-out shows at venues like Tivoli Vredenburg.

Afterparty: Join In The Chant

After the concert, DJs Kitty and Patrick take over the afterparty. Both have been active in the alternative scene for decades, with roots in New Wave, Postpunk, EBM, Gothic and Industrial.

Patrick started behind the decks in the late 1980s, later playing at venues like Fenix Sittard and Backstage Maastricht. From 2000 onwards, he formed Ersatzdjs with Eugene, connected to dance nights at places like Bluff, Theater Landgraaf, Spuugh Vaals, Theater Heerlen, SCHUNCK and Café Pelt. Since 2006 he's been resident DJ at PNN - first with the concept That 80's Feeling - Dance To The Underground, later solo and with Kitty as part of Re-Post.

Kitty was DJ at the legendary Inpoet NWC from 1982 to 1993. Later she organized Inpoet Reunions with Morris V at Poppodium Nieuwe Nor, hosting international acts like Clock DVA, Twice a Man, She Past Away and The Neon Judgement. She also provided afterparties following concerts by Die Krupps, The Cassandra Complex, Test Dept, Laibach, Trisomie 21, The Chameleons, Tuxedomoon and Peter Murphy, and was responsible for music at multiple Re-Post and Downhill festivals.

Together, Kitty and Patrick bring a mix of classics, lesser-known tracks and new work - from Fad Gadget to ACTORS, from Bauhaus to Cold Cave.
