The Cassandra Complex

On Sunday, 8 November 2026, The Cassandra Complex plays an exclusive Dutch show at Poppodium Nieuwe Nor. The band returns to Europe with a tour around their new album Generating Station Complex, featuring the classic line-up: Rodney Orpheus (vocals, synths, drum machines), Paul Dillon (synths, drum machines) and Andy Booth (guitar, keyboards).

The Cassandra Complex has been around for over forty years and is regarded as one of the most influential names in postpunk and industrial. For the Generating Station Complex tour, the original line-up reunited to rebuild their songs with a harder and more intense sound.

Swedish band SJÖBLOM appears as special guest. Around frontman Johan Sjöblom Eliot, the band combines dark atmospheric sounds with strong melodies and emotional lyrics, inspired by classic new wave and modern alternative rock.

This concert is part of the RePost! programming at Nieuwe Nor, through which the venue presents acts rooted in or inspired by the underground of the 1980s - genres such as wave, postpunk and EBM. This is a club card show.
