SJÖBLOM is a Swedish post-punk duo from Stockholm, formed in 2016 by Johan Sjöblom Eliot - also known from The Exploding Boy - and Robert Eklind, formerly of Malaise. The band moves between dark melodic guitar pop and electronic textures, and has released three albums: a debut on Manic Depression Records, *Demons* on Reptile Music, and the most recent *Dead of Night* (2024) on COP International.
SJÖBLOM released their third album *Dead of Night* on November 1, 2024 via COP International, on limited white vinyl (300 copies worldwide) and as CD and digital.
To announce *Dead of Night*, SJÖBLOM went on a European tour visiting cities such as Bochum, Bielefeld, Cologne, Berlin and Copenhagen.
SJÖBLOM signed a contract with the American label COP International, which described the band as a fantastic addition to their post-punk roster.
The music magazine Side-Line published a review of *Dead of Night* and praised the band for their accessible mix of guitar and synthesizers.
