JazzOUT!

JazzOUT! returns to Theater Heerlen with a new edition where jazz is the starting point, but the boundaries of the genre are regularly explored. The programme brings together different styles, influences and artists - from established names to innovative makers.

One of the performing artists is Nate Smith: drummer, composer, producer and bandleader, and one of the most sought-after musicians of his generation. He has previously collaborated with Pat Metheny, Norah Jones, Childish Gambino and Jon Batiste. With his project LIVE ACTION, he presents work in which live-played music and collaboration are central.
