WIES
WIES performs distinctive Dutch-language indie pop at 013 in Tilburg.
WIES is an Amsterdam indie pop trio that formed in the summer of 2018 out of a collaboration at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Fronted by Jeanne Rouwendaal, the band makes Dutch-language rock and pop with an electronic undercurrent - a sound that earned them the Amsterdamse Popprijs (2018) and the Grote Prijs van Nederland (2019) early in their career. Their third studio album 'AH!', released in February 2026, pushes further into raw, layered territory with themes of time, doubt and growing up.
WIES expands the tour for 'AH!' with nine new shows throughout the Netherlands and Belgium, with ticket prices between € 18.00 and € 26.50.
WIES performs on April 23, 2026 at Paradiso in Amsterdam as part of the album tour for 'AH!'.
WIES performs at Best Kept Secret 2026 in Hilvarenbeek.
WIES's third studio album 'AH!' is released on February 6, 2026; the album contains eleven tracks and is reviewed by Oor as a mature step forward.
Nieuweplaat.nl gives 'AH!' a 7.5 and writes that WIES manages to tell something different with each track despite the central theme of 'time'.
