Storioni Trio - Melancholy & Emotion

The Storioni Trio performs three romantic works this evening: Rachmaninov's melancholic Trio élégiaque in G, Mendelssohn's energetic Trio in C opus 66, and Tchaikovsky's monumental Trio in A opus 50, composed in Rome.

Active for thirty years, the trio has performed with leading orchestras under renowned conductors, but found equal inspiration in chamber music - in churches, at special venues, and in direct contact with the audience. Beyond concerts, they have recorded numerous CDs and appeared in radio and television programmes. In 2007 they founded their own Storioni Festival.
