Caleb Caudle is a singer-songwriter from North Carolina, raised in a family with strong agricultural traditions. His music blends folk and country with the indie rock he picked up on the radio as a teenager. His lyrics are narrative and empathetic: ordinary people, moral choices, and the daily work of living.
Heavy Thrill is his first self-produced album, recorded at the Cash Cabin Studio in Tennessee. The album explores patience, resilience, and the search for meaning. At its release, Caudle also founded his own label: Handplow Records, named after an old family farming tool. For every 100 albums sold, he donates 1,000 meals to a food bank in North Carolina.
Mama's Broke is the Canadian duo of Lisa and Amy, rooted in their own heritage but influenced by music from around the world. They switch between violin, banjo, guitar, and mandolin, weaving traditional dance and foot percussion into their shows, drawing from folk music of French-speaking Quebec, blues, punk, Celtic, Balkan, and doom metal. Their powerful voices blend into tight harmonies.
Following Narrow Line, they are now touring North America and Europe with their new album Reunion. Reunion comes out on August 28 and explores the dissolution of communities and trust.
