Bryan Raets

Composer and producer Bryan Raets (34) moves between neoclassical and post-minimalist music. He composes from an inner necessity: to give form to memories, doubt, and stillness. His solo album Memento was released in 2025 and reveals an increasingly pronounced minimalist signature, with repetition and layered arrangements at its core. Bryan cites Max Richter and Ólafur Arnalds as inspirations, but has developed his own distinctive sound.

With Memento, Bryan carefully lays bare his memories. The music emerged from moments of silence, reflection, and intuition - without a fixed concept. He deliberately leaves space open, so each listener can bring their own emotion or memory to every piece.

For this concert, Bryan has stripped the music down to its essence. Together with a violinist and cellist, he performs an intimate set where every nuance is audible and silence carries as much weight as sound.
