MEROL

On Sunday 13 December, MEROL performs at Poppodium Nieuwe Nor during Wintertijd Heerlen with her new album 'Leve De Feeks'. Her Dutch-language electropop is raw, direct and headstrong - and with this album she takes a rougher path, drawing on electropunk, rock and techno influences. On 'Leve De Feeks' she frees herself from shame about her body, her sexuality and her desire for children, wrapped in a rawer sound that still leans on synthpop and electronics.

MEROL launched herself in 2018 with the hit single Lekker Met De Meiden and has since packed major club venues. She performed at festivals including Lowlands, Pukkelpop, Best Kept Secret and Rock Werchter, and hits like Hou Je Bek and Bef Me earned her a loyal fanbase. De Morgen wrote that it is "no more than normal that every festival nowadays wants to book MEROL".
