Fanfare Ciocarlia

Fanfare Ciocărlia hails from Zece Prăjini, a small village in Romania where a centuries-old Roma brass tradition has been passed down through generations. Since their breakthrough in the 1990s, they have performed on stages worldwide, known for their high-speed playing style, powerful rhythms, and a blend of brass, folk, and Balkan grooves.

On 15 October they perform at Poppodium Nieuwe Nor in Heerlen.
