Axel Rudi Pell

German guitarist and bandleader Axel Rudi Pell has been active in melodic hard rock for over 35 years. Based in Bochum, he has built a distinctive sound around powerful riffs and driven melodies. On Friday, October 9, he performs at Poppodium Nieuwe Nor in Heerlen.

Pell takes the stage with his regular line-up, featuring vocalist Johnny Gioeli and former Rainbow drummer Bobby Rondinelli. The programme centres on his latest album Ghost Town - his 22nd studio album - combining new material with classics from his catalogue. The tour is called the "Ghost Town Tour 2026".

Support comes from Night Laser, a heavy glam metal band from Hamburg that blends 1980s heavy metal, hard rock and power metal with sleaze influences. The band has existed since 2013 and released the album Call Me What You Want in 2024.
