Night Laser is a sleaze and glam metal band from Hamburg, founded in 2014 by brothers Benno (vocals) and Robert Hankers (bass). Four studio albums on Steamhammer/SPV and more than 250 European shows have earned them a reputation as one of the standout live acts of the new German metal generation. Their sound blends '80s glam and hard rock with power metal and sleaze influences, and has grown more ambitious with each release.
Night Laser announced their fifth studio album Rats in the Cradle, scheduled for September 25, 2026 via Steamhammer, with the first single 'Heart of the Desert Rose' featuring guest vocalist Johnny Gioeli (Axel Rudi Pell/Hardline).
The band will tour again in autumn 2026 as special guest of Axel Rudi Pell, alongside their own headline shows in Hamburg and elsewhere in Germany.
Night Laser played their last show of the year on October 11, 2025 in Oberhausen, after which they entered the studio for the new album.
The fourth album Call Me What You Want was released on May 24, 2024 via Steamhammer/SPV, produced by Dirk Schlächter (Gamma Ray) and mixed by Eike Freese (Deep Purple, Helloween).
In October 2024, the band released a music video for the song 'Travelers in Time', taken from Call Me What You Want.
