After five years of silence, Flying Horseman return with 'Anaesthesia', their seventh album. The Antwerp-based band moves between art rock, hazy psychedelia and cosmic folk - dark and fierce, yet rich in colour and finesse. The album explores the chaos and injustice of the world, with a pronounced anti-fascist edge.

Frontman Bert Dockx (Dans Dans, Ottla) takes centre stage with personal lyrics and fiery guitar work. Loesje and Martha Maieu add ghostly backing vocals and lo-fi synths, while the new rhythm section - Louis Evrard and Max Dobbertin - brings an adventurous and surprisingly groovy undercurrent.

The band has previously played Pukkelpop, Gent Jazz Festival and Incubate. Now they perform at MEZZ in Breda.
