Kula Shaker

Kula Shaker broke through in 1996 with hits like 'Hush', 'Govinda' and 'Grateful When You're Dead', and their debut album 'K' became one of the best-selling British releases ever that same year. The psychedelic rock band - named after the ninth-century Indian saint, king and poet Kulasekhara Alwar - had a string of Top 10 singles, opened Oasis's Knebworth shows and toured with Aerosmith. They were also Glastonbury headliners twice, on the same weekend.

The original members remain close friends and released their latest album 'Wormslayer' earlier this year. In November they play at MEZZ in Breda.
