Abysmal Dawn are an American death metal band from Los Angeles, formed in 2003 by guitarist and vocalist Charles Elliott, the group's sole constant member. Across five studio albums - from their 2006 debut From Ashes to 2020's Phylogenesis - they have built a reputation for technically precise, melodically aggressive death metal, and are currently signed to Season of Mist.
Abysmal Dawn has withdrawn from the 'Tech It Easy' European tour due to medical issues with family members at home; the band hopes to return in 2027.
