Obscura's Shred Fest

Shred Fest travels to a different continent each year with a rotating line-up. This time the Netherlands is the destination: Obscura, Pestilence, Cryptic Shift, Thus and DVRK are coming to the Grote Zaal in Leeuwarden.

Obscura has been active in technical death metal for twenty years and is known for razor-sharp riffs and layered melodies. Pestilence, a pioneer since the 1980s, brings an unpredictable and extreme sound. Cryptic Shift from Leeds combines technical thrash with death metal and sci-fi influences. Thus from Aarhus plays progressive riffs with melancholic melodies, and DVRK blends deathcore, nu metal and bass music.
