Krisiun is a Brazilian death metal band founded in 1990 in Porto Alegre by brothers Alex Camargo (bass, vocals), Moyses Kolesne (guitars) and Max Kolesne (drums). The trio is renowned for their relentless tempos and near-inhuman drumming, a signature sound they have maintained across twelve studio albums on Century Media. Their 2000 record 'Conquerors of Armageddon' is widely regarded as a landmark of the genre, cementing their status as one of South America's most influential extreme metal acts.
Krisiun announced a North American tour on which they will play 'Conquerors of Armageddon' in full for the first time, on the occasion of the album's 25th anniversary.
The band performed at the Metal Frenzy Open Air festival in Germany as part of their European summer festival schedule.
Krisiun was part of Venom Inc.'s 'Beyond The Black Tour 2025' through Europe, with three performances in the Netherlands.
Krisiun also confirmed tour dates in Asia, Australia and Brazil for the summer and autumn of 2025.
The twelfth studio album 'Mortem Solis' was released on 29 July 2022 via Century Media Records, recorded in São Paulo and mixed by Mark Lewis in Nashville.
