Extince - 30 Years Spraakwater

Thirty years ago, Extince shook Dutch hip-hop with Spraakwater. A Dutch-language rap track in the top 10 was unthinkable until then - but that single record changed the rules of the game forever.

It proved to be no fluke. Spraakwater was the prelude to the album Binnenlandse Funk, one of the key records of Dutch-language hip-hop. Opgezwolle, Fresku and De Jeugd all cite Extince as a major source of inspiration.

On 25 September, he takes the stage at De Helling in Utrecht with his regular DJ DNX for an old-school hip-hop show celebrating this thirty-year milestone.
