EXTINCE: 30 Years of Spraakwater
Fri, 2 Apr 2027 · 20:30 — 23:59
Extince - also known as De Exter-O-Naldus, Prince Extince, or simply Peter Kops - is regarded as the father of Dutch hip-hop. In 1995, he scored the very first Dutch-language hip-hop hit with 'Spraakwater', conquering the Netherlands and Belgium with his Brabant wordplay and soft G. His music is infused with funk influences, and his lyrics showcase what is possible with the Dutch language.
More than thirty years after that breakthrough, Extince takes the stage for a jubilee show at FLUOR Amersfoort, alongside four-time Dutch DJ champion DJ DNS. Two pioneers of Dutch hip-hop culture on one stage: the flows of Extince, the turntable skills of DJ DNS, and three decades of Spraakwater.
Physical tickets are available at Velvet Music Amersfoort.
