Bloodred Hourglass
TivoliVredenburg and De Helling present Bloodred Hourglass, straight from Finland. The six-piece band, featuring three guitarists, delivers a heavy sound somewhere between death metal and thrash metal - complemented by that distinctive Finnish melody. Since their debut album Lifebound (2012), the band has released a new album every two years, continuously refining their sound with influences from alt.metal and metalcore, including the occasional pop hook. They're not coming alone: two other bands from the Nordic region are also on the bill.
Brymir emerged in 2006 on the Scandinavian metal scene, initially with covers and demos only. Their debut album Breathe Fire to the Sun took a while - the band members had to complete their military service first - but the promise was ultimately delivered. Their sound moves between viking metal, symphonic metal and death metal, and they're coming to De Helling with a brand new album.
Pridian hails from Estonia and combines heavy riffs and polyrhythmic structures with cinematic soundscapes. With this approach they caught the attention of the music press and have already appeared at showcase festival ESNS.
