Satanklaas: Razorblade Messiah | Hallowed Fire | Stoeptegels
Poppodium Phoenix, Breda · Early bird € 6,66
On 6 December, Poppodium Phoenix in Breda explores the dark side of Saint Nicholas: no gingerbread cookies or wish lists, but three metal acts that Satanklaas himself pulls from his black sack.
Razorblade Messiah hails straight from Rotterdam. The four-piece band, formed in 2015, draws from 1980s thrash and blends it with heavy, speed and power metal: pounding rhythms, razor-sharp riffs, fiery guitar solos and raw vocals.
Hallowed Fire is a five-piece thrash metal band active since late 2016. Their first performance immediately won them the first round of Metal Battle 2017. Since then they have shared the stage with Angelus Apatrida, Exhorder, Evil Invaders and Flotsam and Jetsam, and played Rock Circus 2023 (with Electric Callboy and Powerwolf, 10,000 attendees) and Baroeg Open Air 2019 (with Dark Tranquillity and Samael, also 10,000 people). With two EPs under their belt - Decade of Darkness and Pillars of Lies - and a full album in the works, they are ready for a new show at Phoenix.
De Stoeptegels close the evening as a Dutch-language party (grind)punk band with wild stage outfits and a pronounced love for cold beer and mosh pits.
Early bird tickets are available for € 6.66.
