Hallowed Fire is a five-piece heavy/thrash metal band from Heerhugowaard in the Netherlands, formed in late 2016. The lineup of Rob Mandjes (vocals), Dani Ruiz Cardo and Steve Mettes (guitars), Gio Melis (bass) and Joey Duijm (drums) draws on old-school speed metal and groove-heavy riffing. After reaching the semi-finals of Metal Battle 2017 on their very first show, they went on to share stages with Exhorder, Evil Invaders, Angelus Apatrida and Flotsam and Jetsam. Two EPs - Decade of Darkness (2019) and Pillars of Lies (2020) - precede a debut full-length currently in preparation.
