The Chameleons

In 2015, The Chameleons said farewell at Nieuwe Nor with their Final Farewell Tour - in a different line-up. Now they return to Heerlen reunited.

The post-punk band from Manchester broke through with their debut single 'In Shreds' (1982) and three albums: 'Script of the Bridge' (1983), 'What Does Anything Mean? Basically!' (1984) and 'Strange Times' (1986). John Peel, the legendary BBC Radio host, discovered the band after their formation in 1981. In the decades that followed, they shared the stage with U2, The Cure, Bauhaus and Simple Minds, and continue to tour across Europe, the US, Australia, South America and China.

In late 2025, they released their first new single in over a decade: 'Where Are You', followed by the album 'Arctic Moon'.
