About: Rob Chrispijn

Lyricist and mycologist Rob Chrispijn built his reputation through collaborations with Herman van Veen, Stef Bos and a long list of Dutch artists, while also publishing authoritative books on fungi. Now in his eighties, he remains an active stage presence.

On his eightieth birthday (25 November) Chrispijn celebrated at De Kleine Komedie in Amsterdam with Stef Bos, Harry Sacksioni and the Firma Ziel & Zaligheid, and presented his new collection *Lucky Birds Have It Easy*.
