Lecture | Soest Cloud Skies, Incomparably Beautiful

On Thursday, October 8, 2026, David Henneveld gives a lecture on cloud skies above Soest from 19:30 to 21:30 at Bibliotheek Soest. He takes the audience through dozens of photographs he has taken over the years, accompanied by text and explanation.

David Henneveld is a self-taught meteorologist who has been active with weather since the 1970s and works at Weathernews in Soest. Photographing cloud skies is his great hobby, and with humor and some depth he explains what you see in the photographs.

Admission costs € 19 (regular) or € 16.50 for library members, both excluding service charges. Tickets are available in advance only: online or at the desk.
