Cooking with Knopfler performs the music of Mark Knopfler and Dire Straits. The band was founded in 2019 by Belgian musicians Bart Buls and David Piedfort, both active in the Flemish music scene.

The band has previously performed in sold-out venues in Belgium - including Trixxo Theater, Capitole Gent and Stadsschouwburg Antwerpen - and subsequently made a successful debut in the Netherlands.
