Hayden Thorpe

As frontman of the idiosyncratic British indie band Wild Beasts, Hayden Thorpe spent years captivating audiences with his exceptional falsetto and theatrical, layered pop songs. Nine years after the band's end, he brings that beloved material to the stage for the first time as a solo artist. No grand productions - just the songs in their rawest form: voice and instrument alone, exactly as they were originally written. The timing is deliberate: this year marks exactly twenty years since Wild Beasts released their debut single 'Brave Bulging Buoyant Clairvoyants'.

Beyond the Wild Beasts catalogue, Thorpe has spent recent years building his own solo career. From intimate piano ballads on 'Diviner' to dreamy electropop and ambient soundscapes on 'Moondust for My Diamond'. In 2024 came 'Ness', his most ambitious album to date - a cinematic and eclectic work where his voice meets experimental folk and chamber orchestra arrangements.
