Lézard

Lézard is a band from Ghent that sings about the world's downfall in danceable discopunk - somewhere on the fault line between comedy and tragedy. Their sound combines post-punk, disco, glam rock, new wave and electroclash.

Their debut album is a diorama full of heartbreakers, voyeurs, escapists and dreamers, brought together under a shattered disco ball. The central question: 'Que Se Passe t-il'? Lézard turns the camera frantically on itself and asks what on earth is happening on this big blue rock.

After their first singles, the band quickly became a sought-after live act. Festivals like Reeperbahn, The Great Escape, Nürnberg Pop, Left of the Dial, Pukkelpop, Best Kept Secret and Eurosonic have already featured them. Now they're playing in the Kleine Zaal at MEZZ.
