The Sewing Club

The Sewing Club plays grungy indie rock with shoegaze influences. The band formed in a friend's basement in Nashville, Tennessee and has previously played shows with Soccer Mommy, Arlie, Chokecherry and Deeper, appeared at SXSW, and released their debut EP 'Care'. On 29 October they come to Europe for the first time, performing at MEZZ.

The band consists of Hannah McElroy (guitar, vocals), Stephen Meaux (guitar, bass), Justin McKinney (guitar) and Zach McCoy (drums, vocals). 'Care' was recorded and mixed by Calvin Lauber (Julien Baker), Alex Farrar (Wednesday) and Henry Stoehr of Slow Pulp.
