Janne Schra

Janne Schra is a painter, singer and songwriter. She became known as the frontwoman of Room Eleven until the band disbanded in 2009, when she launched her solo career. Since then she has released multiple albums and singles, with jazz and folk influences as a common thread.

Her album 'Work Out' comes out on 13 March. The new single 'Pain' explores the idea that pain can sometimes be valuable: it forces you to face something real about yourself. To learn anything, you have to feel that pain rather than run from it.
