Black Stone Cherry

Black Stone Cherry from Kentucky has built an impressive track record in southern rock over the past twenty years, with hits like 'Blame It on the Boom Boom', 'White Trash Millionaire' and 'Stay'. In 2026 they bring their The Celebrate Tour to Breda.

The band consists of Chris Robertson, Ben Wells and John Fred Young - together since their founding in 2001 - and was joined in 2023 by Steve Jewell Jr. That same year the album 'Screamin' At The Sky' was released. On Record Store Day 2025 came 'This is Black Stone Cherry's RSD album. The band really likes it.', and on 6 March 2026 the new EP 'Celebrate' is expected.

The EP contains the singles 'Neon Eyes', 'Burnin' Sky' (featuring Bad Company) and 'Celebrate' released in 2025, plus a cover of Simple Minds' 'Don't You (Forget About Me)' with guest vocals from Tyler Connolly of Theory Of A Deadman. Singer and guitarist Chris Robertson on the EP: "Every work of art is a snapshot of the artist's life. I see the songs on this EP as the result of everything we've experienced since Screamin' At The Sky."

Over the years they have shared the stage with Alter Bridge, Def Leppard, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bad Company, Motörhead and ZZ Top, and performed at Download Festival as main support for Guns N' Roses.
