Black Stone Cherry is an American hard rock band from Edmonton, Kentucky, formed in 2001 by Chris Robertson (vocals/guitar), Ben Wells (guitar), John Fred Young (drums) and bassist Steve Jewell Jr. Blending southern rock, hard rock and blues, they broke internationally with 'Folklore and Superstition' (2008). Six consecutive albums debuted at number one on the UK Rock Albums Chart, cementing their reputation as one of the genre's most reliable live acts.
