Årabrot (NOR) + support

Kjetil Nernes, the driving force behind Norwegian rock band Årabrot, spent years navigating the European noise-rock underground until he was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer in 2014. He survived against the odds, and that recovery completely transformed both his life and his music. The result was the explosive album The Gospel (2016).

Today Nernes lives with musician Karin Park and their daughter in a desecrated church in the Swedish countryside. From there, Årabrot continues to mutate: dark, abrasive and hard to categorize, blending noise rock, post-punk, metal and gothic rock. In 2026 the band returns with a brand new album.
