Temples (UK) + PAUW (NL)
Temples from Kettering are known for constantly exploring new directions. On their fifth album BLISS, they push their neo-psychedelic sound further into electronic territory: synths and dancefloor-oriented rhythms combine with their distinctive guitar work, multi-part vocals and glam-pop sensibility. Inspiration comes from the euphoric yet melancholic sounds of late 1990s dance and ambient electronica - the result feels both nostalgic and forward-looking.
Support comes from PAUW, a psychedelic pop and rock band from Haaksbergen centred around Brian Pots and Rens Ottink. Drawing on 1960s and 1970s influences, dreamy melodies and extended jams, they have previously played Lowlands and Down the Rabbit Hole. After a period of silence, PAUW returns with renewed energy.
