Lutherse Kerk x MEZZ: Matteo Myderwyk

Matteo Myderwyk has moved beyond the works of his heroes Bach and Liszt toward a freer, more instinctive approach: improvising, composing in the moment, building sonic worlds based on pure emotion rather than written notes. In recent years he has been nominated for an Edison Award and performed in venues such as the Concertgebouw, Paradiso, and TivoliVredenburg.

His studio albums are created at the piano, but his live shows are of a completely different order: unpredictable and strongly atmospheric, driven by intuition and curiosity, moving between varied textures, tempi, and timbres. With a growing discography and a sound that appeals to both classical connoisseurs and synth enthusiasts, Myderwyk combines acoustic warmth with analogue rawness.

This concert is presented by MEZZ in collaboration with the Lutherse Kerk. There is free seating; both standing and seated places are available.
