About

Kurt Vile (born January 3, 1980, in Lansdowne, Pennsylvania) is an American singer-songwriter, guitarist and multi-instrumentalist rooted in the Philadelphia music scene. His signature sound blends unhurried guitar lines, lo-fi folk and psychedelic indie rock, performed and recorded with his backing band The Violators.
