Jeroen van Veen (born 1969 in Herwen en Aerdt) is a Dutch pianist and composer widely regarded as the leading exponent of minimalist piano music in the Netherlands. He studied at the Utrecht Conservatory and has built a discography of over 200 albums for Brilliant Classics and his own PIANO label, covering composers from Philip Glass and Simeon ten Holt to Arvo Pärt and Ludovico Einaudi. He is the founder of the Ligconcert® format - concerts where the audience listens lying down - and chairs the Simeon ten Holt Foundation. In 2016 he received the NPO Radio 4 Award for innovative programming.
