On Friday 23 October, the Soefitempel in Katwijk aan Zee hosts Kids Lying Concert: Bear Hunt, inspired by Michael Rosen's story. Pianist Jeroen van Veen plays live piano music while children move, play and imagine.

The journey takes them through grass, mud and river - but along the way, children are also invited to lie still and truly listen. Movement and silence alternate throughout.

The concert is designed for curious children and their (grand)parents.

About: Jeroen van Veen

Pianist and composer Jeroen van Veen has been a central figure in Dutch minimalist music for decades, with hundreds of recordings of Glass, Ten Holt, Pärt and Einaudi to his name. He created the Ligconcert® format, where audiences listen to his piano playing lying down rather than seated - a concept that draws sold-out venues across the Netherlands.
