Hexis are a Copenhagen-based band formed in 2010, operating squarely within the DIY hardcore and punk underground while drawing heavily on the bleak intensity of black metal. Vocalist and driving force Filip Andersen steers a sound that compresses hardcore, sludge, dark ambient and black metal into something few bands dare attempt. With four studio albums, a string of splits and live releases, and well over a thousand shows played across the globe - from the Faroe Islands to Mongolia and Cuba - Hexis have become one of Europe's hardest-touring extreme acts.
Hexis released the live EP 'A.D. XVII KAL. NOV.' recorded in October 2023 in Cali, Colombia.
Hexis performed at Desertfest London as part of the 15 Years Anniversary Tour.
The 15 Years Anniversary Tour took the band through cities such as Oslo, Tampere, Helsinki, Tallinn, Warsaw, Prague, Vienna and Budapest.
Hexis performed at the Inferno das Febras festival in Lousada, Portugal.
The band released the EP 'RELICTUS/UMBRAE' via Bandcamp.
